NodeMCU Wiring to WS2812 Lights

These pages describe how to wire a NodeMCU to the WS2812 Lights

Wires from the WS2812 Lights

Looking for the connector at the right in the picture above:

Take the Red Loose Wire and connect to the 12 Volts

Take the White Loose Wire and connect to Ground Pin

Take the Jumper Wire (1) and connect it to the 12 Volts and the Red Pin ( in the 4 wire plug )

Take another jumper Wire (2) and connect it to the Ground and then White Pin ( in the 4 wire plug )

Take another jumper Wire (3) and connect it to the Ground and then the Blue Pin ( in the 4 wire plug )

Take another jumper Wire (4) and connect it to the Green Pin ( in the 4 wire plug and then it will connect to the ESP Controller on Port D1

Take the Power Converter and plug the red Wire into the 12 Volts

Take the Power Converter and plug the black Wire into ground

Plug the Micro USB into the ESP8266 after you have programmed it.
